REIKI ATTUNEMENTS/CLASSES
I currently offer Reiki attunements in two forms: Traditional Usui style, and Blue Fire. While any Reiki attunement that I pass will carry a vibration from all of the spiritual currents that I possess, when performing the specific forms and practices from the various lineages I have been initiated into I am able to focus more heavily on one at a time, thus granting a full experience in line with that particular tradition. Thus Usui/Tibetan attunements that I perform will feel different than those of Blue Fire, though will still possess a "flavor" of the other energies that I carry.
Different lineages naturally have different approaches to how Reiki is taught and practiced. I am happy to offer training and attunements into Reiki under the original three-level form:
Level One (Shoden) is the Initiate level, attuning you to the Reiki energy and opening your energy centers so that you may better channel that energy. This is typically used for self-healing, but may also be used with others. You will receive your Reiki I certificate immediately upon completion of this class. 4 hours.
Level Two (Okuden) is the Practitioner level and widens your channel for the Reiki power and also attunes you to traditional symbols that may be used to increase the power, work with mental and emotional issues, and grant the ability to perform distance healings. A Reiki I certificate from any lineage is required for eligibility. After completion of this course you will receive your Reiki II certificate after you have attended at least one Reiki Share or have completed two free private one hour sessions with me demonstrating your ability to channel Reiki. 3 hours.
Level Three (Shinpiden) is the Master/Teacher level in which your channel is widened even further while attuning you to additional symbols that enable you to work with spiritual issues, as well as to pass attunements for all levels of Reiki. A Reiki II certificate from any lineage and the passing of a written test is required for eligibility. After completion of this course you will receive your Master/Teacher certificate after you have attended two Reiki Shares (or completed four free one hour private Reiki sessions with me) passed a written test, and demonstrated proficiency in passing attunements.

I offer Traditional Usui Reiki attunements in two forms:
Public classes, and private one-on-one instruction (both in-person and long distance).
In-person classes/attunements are offered at The Mystic Dream.
Level One: $100 class ($200 private)

BLUE FIRE REIKI

Blue Fire Reiki originated with Carrie Hammond in 2006. During her Traditional Reiki Master attunement, one of the deities with which she worked, Melek Ta'us (an angel worshipped by the middle-eastern Yezidi, as well as by practitioners of the Feri tradition of witchcraft who see him as a manifestation of 'the Blue God') appeared to her in vision and augmented the current of energy being passed. While still a form of Reiki (i.e. 'Spiritually guided universal life-force') it manifests as a different vibration and feels more ecstatic, sensual, and even erotic. Blue Fire is the energy current of creation and is used in Feri witchcraft to empower rituals of magic. |
Blue Fire Reiki includes additional practices such as chanting, breath work, specific movements, as well as additional symbols, one of which is unique to the lineage and is often intuited by those being attuned and is taught at Level Two.
As an initiate of Feri --and a devotee of the Blue God-- I was attracted to this blending of the Feri and Reiki approaches to spiritual energy practice, but time and scheduling did not permit me to pursue it further at that time. It was only after I had attuned some students using the traditional Usui methods and they reported to me aspects of their experience that seemed more in line with energies utilized in Feri that I began to suspect that my own connection to the Feri current was partially responsible. This led me to believe that this might also be the case with Blue Fire Reiki; Carrie, though not an initiate of Feri, had a deep and personal practice with the tradition and her connection to the Blue God effectively gave her a "taste" of the Feri current, and this taste was then passed along during her traditional Usui Reiki attunements, "tinging" her Reiki with a little bit of Feri, and eventually becoming Blue Fire Reiki.
I decided to schedule an attunement from her to see if my intuition was correct. During the Level Two attunement in which the symbol is passed, I experienced a deep and visual psychic opening in which I intuited a variation of the symbol of this lineage. While the energy itself was not anything that I had not had access to previously, the focusing element of the symbol proved to be a tangibly powerful experience for me and so to pass this on to others in a way that is respectful to Carrie and the lineage I received my Blue Fire Reiki Master attunement in 2010 and am happy to make this available to others as an addition to traditional Usui Reiki.
BLUE FIRE REIKI ATTUNEMENTS:
I offer Blue Fire Reiki attunements in two forms: in-person classes, and long distant sessions via phone or Skype. These sessions will last roughly one hour.
Pre-requisites for my Blue Fire Reiki attunements are corresponding Traditional Usui Reiki instruction and attunement(s) from any teacher or lineage. (Proof of certificate required.)

SOUL ALIGNMENT
The Feri tradition recognizes that humans have three souls, each with their own drives, needs, and language. When our souls are aligned we are better able to access our own deep wisdom, and to make effective and positive changes in our lives and in the world around us. Using meditation, breath, and energy-work, I will facilitate an experience of soul alignment so that you may attain knowledge of your own divine potential.

Most of us have had glimpses of our own psychic nature, but often we cannot access this ability with any consistency or control. Drawing from my varied psychic, magical, and spiritual trainings, I will assist you in opening your psychic centers using an energetic blessing rite in order to deepen your awareness and strengthen your psychic perception. This is not an exercise in “instant enlightenment” but a practice that in time can assist you in opening up and evolving into your deepest potential.

SPIRITUAL CLEANSING / PURIFICATION / UNCROSSING
Sometimes we may feel that we have picked up negative energies that are holding us back; either through our own actions, poor judgment, bad habits, or even directed our way by the thoughts, actions or energies of another. In these times we may need to undergo a formal cleansing rite in order to “wash away” these negative forces. Using traditional rituals and energy-work, I will perform a spiritual purification for you so that you may regain your own sense of peace and power.

The chakras are a series of energy centers in the human body that correspond to different physical, spiritual, and emotional states. When they are clear and balanced we feel energized, confidant, and at peace. When they are blocked or out of alignment we feel stuck, depressed, or even powerless. Using trance and ritual I will guide you into a receptive state in which you may engage your inner landscape in a way in which we may make changes that will facilitate balance, power, and the awareness of your own divine presence.

Trance work is at the forefront of most witchcraft and shamanic practices. Together we will journey into one of the many Inner Temples so that we may make prayers, give offerings, and receive the wisdom and blessings of those spirits that tend them. Currently I am offering work with the following Inner Temples:
Personal Temple (Place of Power): I will assist you in visiting/creating your own personal Inner Temple that you may journey to in times of stress, or as a centering place in your own meditation practice.
Elemental Temples: Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit. These temples contain the core of the various elemental spiritual energies and are useful for incorporating those energies into your life as needed.
Temple of the Stars: This celestial temple is tended by angels, stellar beings, and the Star Goddess Herself. This is useful for making deep petitions for change in your life, as well as for deepening your own spiritual awareness.
Underworld: Dark Goddess, and Dark God. The keepers of Mystery and magic. Journey here to work with your own shadow, and to claim your lost power from those parts of yourself that have been kept hidden.
Faery Temple: Sacred place within the earth where the stars dwell. Journey here to make alliances with the Fae folk, and to explore your own Fae nature.
Healing Temple: We will journey into a special temple which is tended by various beings devoted to the arts of healing.
